For over 30 years, CircusWA has made its home in Fremantle. Established by a  group of successful street performers, our origin story can still be seen in the roving and street performances for various community events and festivals which feature on the circus calendar.

From here we have grown into a training and performance organisation which promotes excellence and innovation in circus arts, with community at its core. Over the years we have helped thousands of young people develop into confident, healthy individuals, and build life-long friendships. Many past students have gone on to pursue exciting careers as professional circus artists, often coming back home to teach masterclasses and assist our performance troupes.

You can keep up with our antics by following us on social media (links in footer) or by reading our annual reports.

We provide term classes, holiday programs, social circus programs, outreach workshops, three performance troupe programs, scholarships and bursaries, circus parties, support for professional circus artists, subsidised outreach opportunities, corporate workshops, masterclasses and performance opportunities to people aged from 2 to 82.
