Super sad to be saying goodbye to two of our wonderful 2023/24 board members. Adelaide Harney leaves us after three years of clear leadership on a new adventure into parenting. Leanne Puttick is turning full attention to developing her career as a conductor.
However in saying goodbye this means we’ll be opening up opportunities for knew people to step in and help sail this circus ship through all the rough and calm oceans ahead of us. As a member of CircusWA’s board you will be helping to develop a thriving organisation. With your courage, creativity and guidance Circus Arts will flourish in Western Australia. We’ll be announcing new board members at the upcoming AGM.
AGM 2023/24:
Monday 4th November 5.45-7pm
at the Circus Office
In 2023 CircusWA was identified as a significant arts organisation by the Western Australian Government with triennial funding from the Arts Organisational Investment Program (AOIP). With funding strengthening and a new training centre within sight, CircusWA is ready to be guided by an experienced and connected board.
CircusWA’s board members will assist in maintaining and developing the organisation’s strategic direction and support our continued growth to empower young people from all abilities and backgrounds to engage with circus and have the opportunity to flourish as artists here in WA.
We are seeking interest from individuals with experience working with NFP’s and the following skills:
• Governance and management
• Stakeholder engagement and communications
• Finance
