Last week our Sliders Youth Troupe made the long flight to Brisbane to train with the youth troupe at Flipside Youth Circus as part of the first ever National Training Collective!
The crew had an absolute blast working alongside some amazing artists and trainers from companies such as GOM, Circa, Casus, and Flipside, trying out all sorts of new and exciting skills on the way.
Plus, to finish off their exhausting week, they spent the day as tourists at MovieWorld!
Being connected to all these incredible artists around the country helps keep us mentally and physically active. Thanks to all the support from Act Belong Commit and DLGSC for helping make this happen.
CircusWA acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation are the spiritual and cultural birdiyangara (custodians) of the land upon which we train, create and perform.
Fremantle is Walyalup, sited on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan. We recognise this land was never ceded and acknowledge our first people’s continuing connection to boodja (land), kayep (waters) and Noongar culture.
We pay respect to our Elders past and present.
