There’s so much to discover at CircusWA! We have term classes, holiday programs and specialist workshops for all ages – from 2yr olds to adults. The basis of all our classes is about the spirit of community, skill exploration, development and, most of all, having fun.
Whether you’re a professional performer or just looking to have fun, you can explore a wide variety of skills, current classes can be viewed on the classes page.
These workshops harness the skills of visiting artists to provide valuable, high quality training experiences to participants. They are advertised on the homepage, on social media, in our newsletter, and on the specialist training page as they occur.
At CircusWA we are strongly committed to ensuring that all people are able to access our classes, workshops and other opportunities. If you would like to read about our Circus for All program, including our projects in disability arts and with youth at risk of homelessness please visit our Circus for All page.
We also believe in creating professional pathways for young people interested in pursuing a career in circus arts. Our Youth Troupes program provides three valuable stepping stones for dedicated students who want to be extended beyond our recreational classes, many past members have become professional circus artists. If you are interested in our Youth Troupes visit the Youth Troupes page to learn more.
CircusWA acknowledges the Whadjuk Noongar People are the spiritual and cultural birdiyangara (custodians) of the land upon which we train, create and perform.
Fremantle is Walyalup, sited on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan.
We recognise the Whadjuk Noongar people’s continuing connection to land, waters and culture and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.
