It is with absolute delight we are able to share a collection of our favourite moments from be’spoke. A new work in development by our Act Belong Commit youth performers, conceptualised in May this year with an initial presentation at City Of Fremantle’s Winter Festival later in August. Initially working with four young people living with disabilities, they were supported to tell their stories. Then with an ensemble of 16 youth artists interpreting these stories together presented the joys of being them.  This is the beginning of a 2 year training and development project, during which our youth troupes are immersed in the journey of creation through to performance. With further funding and support we hope to be taking this production into full development and presenting in October 2023.

These four story tellers came to us via our specially designed program Circus? You Can! Working under the guidance of trainers Sarah, Ben and Steph, these young people have developed and progressed in leaps and bounds. At CircusWA we are creating circus artists of the future – growing them with knowledge about the world, ability to engage with diversity and difference, and learn how to carry stories and transform lives for a better more connected future.
